Opthamologist

Last night as I got more and more ill, it became apparent that my eyes were swelling. As you can see here (my eyes are actually open in this shot), I have a problem. The doc says I'm contageous and has me quaranteened until she can see me Monday to determine if the eyedrops she gave me are working. My ear hurts, I'm cranky, I'm stopped up, and my eyes are literally weeping gaacky stuff that encrusts on the skin when I'm asleep or just quiet for a little while. Mucinex is my friend, as is Ibuprophen, and I listen to the tv and sleep. I don't have bronchitis YET, but we're going to cross our fingers and toes (I know that's a painful position.) in hope that I don't get it. I'm ALIVE though, and alive with a cold, a small amount of hair and without boobs, is still better than resting in the dirt. So, I'll stop whining shortly.

I am so sorry you are sick, Ann. What's with the eyes? pinkeye?
And to be sick now, Mothers day tomorrow. Not fun at all.
I hope the rest adn the meds will take care of everything. Get some chicken soup in ya, nice and hot.
I'll be thinking of you, on this cloudy day, watching for rain and perhaps a few more thunder claps.
Take care, and rest, rest, rest.....
